Barry Brubaker, Shuttle Pilot

 

Barry Brubaker is a retired teacher. Mr. Brubaker taught in the Stratford, WI School District for 36 years. He retired in June, 2005.

Barry has a BS degree in Social Studies and a Master’s Degree in Education.   Barry also coached track for 22 years and Cross Country for 36 years. 

Barry is a pilot, flight instructor and he likes to bowl, golf, bike and Cross Country Ski.  He has skied in the American Birkebeiner for 10 years.  Barry plays the tenor sax and enjoys singing.  The Brubakers have hosted exchange students over the years and enjoy international travel. 

Barry grew up in Lockport, IL, and he and his wife, Margaret, graduated from Lakeland College in Sheboygan.  They have two children and one grandson.
