Doug is very interested in aviation and space, and you'll find him attending air shows when not coaching his son's athletic teams.
Doug spends his time for Dream Flight USA as crew chief, making sure the shuttle is kept in the best operating condition possible. Doug headed the team that converted a motor coach into the beautiful Dream Flight USA shuttle, the Spirit of Education.
When called upon, Doug pilots the shuttle. He has several Dream Flight USA missions to his credit.
