Winter on the 4th of July
Winter, WI, that is. The Spirit of Education and crew will be in the 4th of July Parade in Winter, WI. The parade begins at noon. The shuttle will be open for tours in the Doc Smith Park following the parade.
The theme of this year's 4th of July parade is Space, and we are looking forward to meeting the residents of Winter and the many visitors to this beautiful community located in northwest Wisconsin.
Winter is the home of US Astronaut, Jeff Williams. Jeff (pictured at left) rode the shuttle Atlantis into space and did a 6-month tour on the International Space Station. He is scheduled for another tour of duty on the ISS.
Keith Karow will pilot the Dream Flight USA shuttle.
